CoDesign Collaborative Launches “CoDesign Conversations” LinkedIn Live Series, Presented by Coforma
August 7, 2025 — CoDesign Collaborative is excited to announce the launch of CoDesign Conversations, a bi-weekly LinkedIn Live series exploring the dynamic intersection of public and private sector innovation. Presented by Coforma, a values-driven digital services company, the series will debut on August 20, 2025, and continue throughout the fall.
CoDesign Conversations aims to address the critical challenges facing creatives today, while highlighting the positive impacts of public and private sector collaboration. Each episode will feature inspiring, dialogue-driven discussions between innovators and leaders from mission-driven and private sector organizations. Together, these change agents will reflect on shared challenges, breakthrough ideas, and the transformative potential of cross-sector collaboration.
“With the rise in remote work and growth in the number and scale of government digitization projects over the past decade, we’re seeing more professionals navigate between the public and private sectors.” said Melissa Casburn, VP of Design at Coforma and Board Member of CoDesign Collaborative. “This series highlights not only the importance of shared values across these spaces, but the positive impact when insights are exchanged across the boundaries.”
Each episode centers on a timely theme. The series will begin with a focus on supporting displaced federal workers, highlighting human-centered responses to workforce disruption. Moderated by Amy Heymans, CEO of Beneficient, the August 20 event will feature Ron Bronson, Former Head of Design of 18F and Founder of Portland Digital Corps, Miranda Martin, Director of Talent Management at the PA Office of Administration, and Brian Whittaker, the Founder of Humans of Public Service.
The following episodes will explore large-scale digital modernization, the real-world use of artificial intelligence, with attention to ethical and equitable implementation, and the ways design and policy can improve essential service delivery and support secure, reliable digital systems at scale.
In featuring these topics and thought leaders at the center of this work, CoDesign Conversations strives to support a growing community of civic-minded professionals in and beyond design who are redefining systems with equity and effectiveness at their core.
