Supplies provided\, no artistic ability required.\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Join us on Tuesday\, January 27\, from 6:30-8:30pm PT for a Third Space gathering at Hi-Top Tavern in Portland\, Oregon. Inspired by CoDesign Collaborative’s forthcoming magazine issue on Designing for Dissent\, we’ll be making protest posters on topics and movements important to you. We’ll provide instructions and sample prompts\, along with the necessary supplies. \nThis program is inspired by and in partnership with Shashank Khandewal and Blue Tiger\, who are hosting “Third Space” events. In sociology\, a “third space” refers to a social environment that is distinct from home (the first place) and work/school (the second place). It’s a place where individuals can connect with others\, build relationships\, and foster a sense of community. \nOur third spaces are physically and conceptually dwindling over time. We’re not giving ourselves enough permission to stop work\, leave the home\, and do something else. So\, let’s continue our reimagining of a third space: a place\, a time\, and an activity.
