Workshop: Introduction Visual Thinking Strategies (VTS) at MassArt Art Museum

Join us for an in-person edition of the Introduction to Visual Thinking Strategies workshop, teaching the VTS facilitation methodology through visual.

Join us on July 23 from 3-4pm ET for Introduction to Visual Thinking Strategies (VTS), an interactive, professional development workshop. Visual Thinking Strategies is a facilitation methodology that uses art or visual stimuli to encourage group participation and critical thinking.

This 60-minute workshop offers a foundation to Visual Thinking Strategies. Attendees will leave with a solid foundation in the VTS methodology. This workshop is not just for design and creative professionals. VTS has proven value across industries, including business, healthcare, and education, and helps leaders move away from “command and control” to truly unlock their team’s collective potential by fostering inclusivity, psychological safety, and collaboration in the workplace. This 90-minute in-person session builds on the foundations of the Introduction to VTS workshop, offered monthly. Attendees will gain a deeper understanding and comfort with utilizing VTS in the workplace and in their leadership practice.

The session will be led by Hailey Group VTS@Work-certified facilitator Catherine Clarke. Participation is limited to 12 attendees.

About Catherine Clarke
Catherine Clarke is a Manager of New Hire Experience at Fidelity Investments with a BFA in design from Northeastern University. She is a leader for Fidelity Enable, an advocacy group for people with disabilities, and a certified Visual Thinking Strategies @ Work Facilitator through the Hailey Group. Inclusion and community care is fundamental to her design practice. She is on the Board of Directors at CoDesign Collaborative.
