Design Museum Mornings: LGBTQ+ Identity and Celebration in Public Spaces
Join the museum for a conversation exploring the design and activation of spaces celebrating LGBTQ+ identities.
This fall, as part of the Design Museum Mornings series, CoDesign Collaborative will host a conversation on LGBTQ+ Identity and Celebration in Public Spaces, exploring how we can design and activate spaces with a community.
Jean Dolin, Creative Director, and Curator at Portraits of Pride will join Maria Molteni, a Queer trans-disciplinary artist, educator, and mystic, in a conversation moderated by J.R. Uretsky, DME’s Curator and Director of Programs.
CoDesign Collaborative (DME) produces a monthly thought-leadership series titled Design Museum Mornings (DMM) that brings together voices from within and beyond the field of design to explore topics on design and social change.
This event will be free and open to the public. It will build upon the focus of the recent Design Museum Magazine Issue 025, The Common Space Issue, and the forthcoming Issue 026, Inclusive Design.
