Embracing Failure in Design with the
Fidelity Center for Applied Technology (FCAT)
Join the Design Research Society and CoDesign Collaborative for a panel discussion on failure in design with speakers from FCAT.
The Design Research Society is partnering with CoDesign Collaborative to host a panel discussion on the importance of failure in design, featuring speakers from the Fidelity Center for Applied Technology (FCAT). Join us on Wednesday, June 26, from 11:45 am – 1:00 pm ET at the MFA Boston Remis Auditorium.
Panelists will share their perspectives on failure as a catalyst for innovation and the importance of fostering a culture that encourages risk-taking as a valuable learning experience. Attendees will gain practical insights into building working cultures that thrive on the lessons learned from setbacks. Don’t miss this opportunity to explore a reframing of failure as an essential part of the design process.
Speakers include Josephine Holmboe, former Creative Director at Fidelity Center for Applied Technology, Will Reed, Head of Design at Fidelity Center for Applied Technology, Greg Smith, VP in the Fidelity Center for Applied Technology and Head of The Founderie, and moderator George White, Director at Slalom.
CoDesign Collaborative is proud to be a partner of the 2024 Design Research Society conference, taking place in Boston from June 23rd-28th, 2024 and hosted by the College of Arts, Media, and Design at Northeastern University.
