Diversity in Action
We Design is an exhibition and education program emphasizing the need for and importance of more racial and gender diversity in design. This multi-session training is designed to accompany We Design and educate on diversity, equity and inclusion.

These engaging conversations are led by Diana Navarrete-Rackauckas, CoDesign Collaborative’s Director of Learning and Interpretation. Over the course of 3 months, you will participate in two half-day training sessions where you will learn why diversity, equity, and inclusion creates better design and business outcomes, how to build and foster diverse teams, and discuss how to give back to communities. Participants will engage in breakout sessions, reflection, high-energy conversations, and a set of self-led deeper learning exercises accompanied by resource sheets and conversation prompts. Participants will learn how to become curious leaders, with resources and tools to take action, including digital artifacts we’ll co-create in the sessions.
