Introducing New Council Member
CoDesign Collaborative is pleased to welcome Rania Adwan to the Council!
Join us in welcoming Rania Adwan to the CoDesign Collaborative Council! Rania joins the council after partnering with the museum on a number of programs including her participation in the 2022 CoDesign Collaborative Week as an Opening Keynote Speaker.
Rania Adwan is interested in designing systemic change that makes our power structures more fair, just, and equitable. Her work has been especially focused on police reform, working with city leaders, oversight agencies, and law enforcement. When she’s not gently pushing cops to do better and be better, she partners with leaders, encouraging and supporting transformation and cultural change. She holds an MS in Foreign Service and Security from Georgetown University and a BA in Journalism from Cardiff University.
Rania shares:
“I’m inspired not only by the work that CoDesign Collaborative does, but also the organization’s intentions and aspirations. What a talented group of good, kind people doing the coolest wow things! Why wouldn’t you want to catch those coattails?!”
Council members are experts in the Museum’s impact areas and design fields. They advise and support the Staff and Board of Directors, while ensuring adequate resources and strong community are available to accomplish the Museum’s mission.
