Remote Meeting Success Strategies
Ryann Hoffman, Principal, Staircase Strategy
Webex. Skype. Zoom. Oh my. With COVID-19 and social distancing, we’re having a lot of virtual meetings — some are good and productive, some are bad and could have been replaced by an email; what’s the difference? Learn to design better remote meetings.
We’ve all done video conferences, webinars, and Skype calls, now and again. But this is different. COVID-19 has the majority of the world’s population sheltering-in-place and working from home where possible. So now we’re all in virtual meetings, all the time. It’s time to learn how to best run a virtual meeting, to design an experience that will translate into the outcomes you want, instead of leaving it to chance.
Let’s learn from the expert who has been working from home since 2012: Ryann Hoffman is a service designer and strategist. Her work focuses on service and business design, innovation leadership, design strategy, and capacity building in design methods. She has been leading, advising on, facilitating, and advocating for remote-first design work for the last four years. She’s a founder and Principal at Staircase Strategy, where she supports leaders in using remote design methods on strategic initiatives and works to help teams think beyond the in-person workshop.
Join us for an illuminating, interactive session on designing, preparing, and executing the best remote meetings and virtual collaboration sessions possible. Part of our ongoing Center for Workplace Innovation event series.
